64th Annual Los Angeles County Science And Engineering Fair in Pasadena

The largest and longest running student science and engineering expo returns for its 64th year this weekend at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 East Green Street, Pasadena, CA).
The Los Angeles County Science And Engineering Fair provides a great venue for the next generation of scientists and engineers to showcase their interests and interact with the world outside of the classroom. The event is open to the public on Friday March 28th (9A to 4P) and Saturday March 29th (10A to 5P).
In addition to the student exhibits, a number of corporate sponsors are providing hands-on activities, unusual objects and exciting technology innovations through the “Interactive Exhibits” encounters adjacent to the student presentations.
The exhibitor list includes:
- Aerospace Legacy Foundation
- American Chemical Society
- Cabrillo Marine Aquarium
- Columbia Memorial Space Center
- Deezmaker 3D Printers
- Earthwatch Institute
- HexLab MakerSpace
- JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory) / NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)
- MakerSpace Los Angeles
- Tinkers Corner
With over 900 student participants from private and public schools throughout the county, the LA County Science Fair will surely be a special event. If you are at least 18 years old and would like to participate next year, volunteers are always needed and appreciated. Please come out to the fair and help encourage these STEM students to further their interests in technology.
