DESIGN East 2013 is promoted as “the East Coast’s most comprehensive event for electronics engineers and designers”.
Advance registration for the conference and (while supplies last) free exhibit passes are available online.
The event runs from September 30th through October 3rd, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA.
The Content Director, Colin Holland, explains that as “The Center of the Engineering Universe”, there is quite a lot planned for Boston this fall:
DESIGN East expands on last year’s successful innovation of adding several co-located and complementary events alongside the traditional fall Embedded Systems Conference in Boston. ESC Boston will remain the largest, most complete technical conference and exhibition for engineers, designers and developers on the East Coast.
It offers you a range of hands-on and classroom education experiences from fundamental skills in embedded design to the latest and most challenging issues. Our presenters come from the first rank of industry developers and training professionals, selected for their proven results on in-class evaluations.
There are 21 educational tracks, featuring 120 tutorials and conference sessions from experts in their field of the industry. The tracks include:
- Analog and Mixed Signal Design
- Debugging, Optimization and Software Engineering
- Embedded I/O Systems
- Low-Power Design
- Microcontrollers, ASSPs and SoCs
- Military/Aerospace Design
- Open-Source: Linux, Android, Eclipse, Arduino
- Programmable Devices
- Project Management
- Prototyping & Development
- Real-Time Systems
- Safety & Security
- System Integration & Test
- Wireless and Wired Connectivity
In conjunction with the DESIGN East convention, there are additional conferences within the event. These are designed to quickly enhance your knowledge in a particular subject matter or immerse you in a new technology from the ground up. The focus of these are:
- Android Summit
- The Android™ Certificate Program
- LED Summit
- Sensors in Design
In addition to the latest practical design insights, techniques and products exhibited on the show floor, the convention is truly an “engineer-only zone” for current and relevant information. Attendees looking to get a jump-start on latest technologies and certifications can expect a total immersion into professional development through the educational sessions and tutorials.
If you can’t make it to DESIGN East this October in Boston, then don’t miss out on these other upcoming conferences:
