Best 5 Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds Under $5
Yes, you can get Bluetooth wireless earbuds for under $5. These may be the most inexpensive earbuds you’ll own, but you’ll still get a decent sound and comfortable fit. We like these earbuds to have as a spare in the travel bag and gym bag, since you never know when you might forget your really good ones. And at this price, it’s very affordable to keep them everywhere.
Audio quality is good, but just don’t expect these to sound like the more expensive ones (you can check out our other earbud reviews / buyers guide to those). Often “good” is the best when looking at these prices. We only consider earbuds that were available with Amazon free shipping, to keep the price low.
The Aledy Bluetooth Earbuds (about $5) are our top pick for this category of wireless earbuds. The audio was pretty good with nice overall range and acceptable bass. The microphone pick-up was good for making calls, and the noise cancellation made it easy to hear the person on the other end.
These are probably most comfortable earbuds you’ll find for the price. The silicone earcups fit well and stay in when jogging, exercising and at the fitness center.
We liked these have the magnetic tips on the earbuds, a feature we usually only see on higher priced models. To turn off the earbuds, you simply click them together. Pull them apart to turn them on.
These come with a 6-hour play-back lithium polymer battery that gets to a full charge in just over 2 hours. Stand-by time is around 200 hours, so you can leave these for quite a while in your carry bag and they’ll still be ready to go when you need them.
For about $5, the Aledy Bluetooth Earbuds ship free on Amazon and are definitely worth picking up. They also come with a 30 days no-questions-asked return policy, and a 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
It’s hard to go wrong with these wireless earbuds that cost less then a morning Starbucks fix!
Runner up is Tiwu Bluetooth Earbuds (about $4) for wireless audio. The silicone earcups provide a good fit, and these also have the “hangers” that fit into your outer ear to keep the earbuds even more secure during exercise.
The sound is good, and the a little more bass than we’ve heard in the others. The microphone works well for calls, with the other party not having any issues hearing clearly. Similarly, the echo cancellation in the earbuds make it easy to hear what the other person is saying.
We like the metal housing, and the magnetic clasp.
The lithium polymer battery provides about 5 hours of playback, with a 2 hour re-charge time. One complaint is the “low battery” audio warning feature that comes on when there’s about 20% charge left. There’s a setting to turn this off, but we weren’t finding it.
For about $4 with free Amazon shipping, the Tiwu Bluetooth Earbuds are worth trying even with the one annoyance mentioned above. You get a 30 days no-questions-asked return policy along with a 1-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty.
For the price of a fancy coffee, you can get one of these for yourself or as a gift.
Also worth looking into the Beautyonline Bluetooth Earbuds (about $3) – these are the least expensive wireless earbuds we could find that came with free shipping from Amazon.
Surprisingly, for this price the audio had a good bass, good treble and nice overall tonality. The microphone was good for hands-free calling, and the in-line controls for Skip/Play/Pause were easy to use.
The earcups are a solid silicone gel type which did fit well and stayed in during exercising and jogging.
Battery life was the shortest of these reviewed, lasting just over 3 hours with a full recharge in about an hour. This was more than enough time for what we typically use it for, so not really an issue.
The $3 investment for the Beautyonline Bluetooth Earbuds is hard not to justify to try these out.
That’s our round-up for these ultra low cost Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds. If you have a little more in your budget, you might want to check out our other reviews and buyers guides for wireless audio:
