Techweek 2015 Returning To Los Angeles November 9th

Techweek Los Angeles 2015
Techweek LA – Returning For 3rd Year

The Silicon Beach in Los Angeles will be hosting the third annual Techweek event starting November 9th, 2015. Last years event brought more than 2,500 people to listen to 100+ speakers and interact with 300+ companies.

If you are new to Techweek, they spend a week in key cities across the US (Detroit, Chicago, Kansas City, New York, Los Angeles and Miami) promoting their mission of building a better world through tech entrepreneurship.

In each city, Techweek hosts a 7-day series of events with a 2-day technology conference and expo to bring together a mixture of entrepreneurs, visionaries, and thought leaders. This weeklong celebration of technology and innovation brings the local community together and we then shine a large global spotlight on the exciting developments in that community.

Unlike many other conferences, Techweek fosters an atmosphere of collaboration and interaction between the attendees and with the companies. The event is an incubator of fledgling startups, emerging growth companies, and the titans of technology.

A broad and inclusive platform, the event reflects the wide spectrum of tech and innovation evolving today. Being both disruptive and diverse, Techweek assembles key segments of the community to interact and share ideas. The event has generous mix of:

  • Entrepreneurs – and their teams on the front lines of growing tech enabled businesses
  • Technologists – the engineers, programmers, developers, designers, and enthusiasts who have a passion for building things
  • Investors – the venture capitalists, angels, and stakeholders providing the necessary funding to growing companies
  • Media, marketers, and agency professionals – the journalists and brand representatives who tell the stories about the cutting edge of innovation
  • Students – Tomorrow’s leaders who learn important skills by experiencing the ecosystem in action

Coming to Techweek, you can expect to experience:

Expo – Showcasing the newest products and insights from both Fortune 500 companies and nascent startups. Exhibitors interact and connect with thousands of Techweek attendees. Come to the expo for live demos, swag, giveaways and more.

Hacktathon – Our 24-hour marathon gathering of developers and hackers is an all-day and all-night frenzy of fun, camaraderie, and coding. At the end, each team will have created an entirely new application that they will showcase to the Techweek crowd and a panel of industry-leading judges.

Hiring Fair – The Hiring Fair is all about matching talented people with the right jobs. Employers come to win the war for talent and find the best data analysts, UI/UX designers, developers and more. Candidates meet with the best companies in tech. Everyone wins !
